Pixel Suite v6 announced

We're pleased to announce the Pixel Suite version 6 is actively under development at our Beaconsfield offices. Scheduled for release in 2006, The Pixel Suite v6 will focus on automation, scalability and ease of use.

Pixel Suite v5 development complete

Development of the Pixel Suite version 5 has been changed to 'maintenance mode'. Any significant issues that are discovered in the version 5 applications may still be addressed, but no new features or functionality will be added.

Current version 5 users can download the final build of the Pixel Suite (v5.0.21) from the support web site.

Introducing the Pixel Suite 'Click'!

Many labs would love to use the Pixel Suite - it's the industry leading Digital Lab production software, and has enabled businesses around the world to capture, manipulate and produce their work Digitally.

The barrier for many people has been the sheer expense of purchasing all the individual parts to make the transition - even for small labs, the software purchase alone could be tens of thousands of dollars or Euro.

So, we decided to change the equation. We decided it would be better and fairer to give the Pixel Suite away - for Free - including our digital Camera capture application, Nikomate. We decided that instead of asking you for a huge up-front fee, we'd ask you to pay us a very small fee every time you actually use an image in your production. It works like this.

You download the Pixel Suite 'Click'! and install it on as many machines in your business as you want. This includes our capture software, Nikomate and our remote Site software, epsPix. You can create jobs, print camera cards, shoot the jobs, run your pre-production - do whatever you want. The only difference is that the database and images are all encrypted, so you'll only be able to use them with the Pixel Suite Click!

When it comes time to run production, you visit our web site, and purchase 'Clicks'. Choose to purchase 1,000 or 100,000 - just get what you need. The more you purchase in a single block, the cheaper they are.

Now you're ready to run production. You'll be told the number of clicks this job will consume and ask your permission to unlock the images. Once you say 'Yes', the images are decrypted and can be used for anything you want - inside or out of the Pixel Suite Click! - they are yours. Print Composites, Packages, ID cards, export images - anything the Pixel Suite can create.
